Experience

Olivia has worked in intensive treatment teams in not-for-profit organisations, hospital-based clinical teams (CATT, inpatient & outpatient), schools, prisons, police and private practice. She has had research, program design, clinical and management roles and has been in private practice for the last 17 years. Olivia has a particular interest in emotional intelligence, resilience, trauma-informed care, applied neuroscience and burnout of health workers/emergency/front line responders. She has been involved in the training and supervision of a variety of health professionals including Psychology Interns and Counselling Psychology Registrars. Olivia is an accredited EMDR Consultant with EMDRAA and provides supervision for therapists wishing to become accredited EMDR practitioners and she is also an accredited Brainspotting Consultant providing supervision for therapists wishing to become accredited Brainspotting practitioners. Olivia is part of the Brainspotting Australasia training team and Olivia undertakes individual and group supervision for practitioners in EMDR, Brainspotting, trauma and neuroscience-informed therapeutic work.
