Olivia is a Registered and Endorsed Clinical & Counselling Psychologist, AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor, Accredited EMDR Consultant, Accredited Brainspotting Consultant and PhD Candidate with a particular interest in burnout prevention of health/emergency responder workers. She has over 30 years of experience as a clinician across the mental health sectors in Australia & New Zealand.

Experience
Olivia has worked in intensive treatment teams in not-for-profit organisations, hospital-based clinical teams (CATT, inpatient & outpatient), schools, prisons, police and private practice. She has had research, program design, clinical and management roles and has been in private practice for the last 18 years. Olivia has a particular interest in emotional intelligence, resilience, trauma-informed care, applied neuroscience and burnout of health workers/emergency/front line responders. She has been involved in the training and supervision of a variety of health professionals including Psychology Interns and Clinical & Counselling Psychology Registrars.
Olivia is an accredited EMDR Consultant with EMDRAA and provides supervision for therapists wishing to become accredited EMDR practitioners and she is also an accredited Brainspotting Consultant providing supervision for therapists wishing to become accredited Brainspotting practitioners. Olivia is part of the Brainspotting Australasia training team and Olivia undertakes individual and group supervision for practitioners in EMDR, Brainspotting, trauma and neuroscience-informed therapeutic work.
Key Focus Areas
Olivia is a PhD Candidate in the area of prevention of burnout in health practitioners & frontline responders. Over an extended period, she has had clinical and research experience with burnout prevention. Olivia is the Founder and Director of the NeuroFrontiers Burnout Prevention Clinic and is a core facilitator of burnout prevention trainings and programs.
Olivia has studied extensively in psychological therapies and has completed additional training in neuroscience-informed therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Informed Practitioner Training (level I), Safe & Sound Protocol and is a Certified Heart Math Practitioner. Olivia is currently completing her International Certification in Neurofeedback and Biofeedback (BCIA) and has an active interest in nervous system regulation and the link to wellbeing and mental health.
